Independent Strategic Review of Waste for the Liverpool City Region 2016

In 2016 the Liverpool City Region Mayor and Leaders commissioned an independent strategic review of waste management in order to identify opportunities for further efficiency savings in response to the financial austerity faced by Council budgets reduced by the Government. The Review was led by Councillor Ann O’Byrne, Deputy Mayor, Liverpool City Council and Councillor Graham Morgan, Chairperson of Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority.
