  • The Authority is a local government body and its formal meetings are regulated by statute and the Authority’s Procedural Rules. The Procedural Rules governing the way in which the Authority transacts its business can be found here: MWDA PROCEDURAL RULES
  • Meetings are held to consider Key Decisions which have been published in the Authority’s Forward Plan and to scrutinise proposed Executive Decisions that have been ‘called in’.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Minutes from all Authority meetings are only available to download on the agenda of the next scheduled ordinary meeting. These minutes are in draft form only until formally approved at the relevant meeting. If you have any queries regarding formal minutes and resolutions, please contact the Clerk to the Authority.
  • Timing of Authority Meetings: Members agree a schedule of meetings each Municipal Year. Meetings occur approximately every six weeks, commencing with the Annual Meeting which must be held before 30th June each year.
  • All meetings are scheduled to be held at 1.00pm at the venue stated on the agenda (unless stated otherwise).
  • Meetings are open to the public, however the public may be excluded during the consideration of private items.
