UPDATE (08.02.21): Please note Wirral Council and Merseyside Police have informed us that they are now able to fully reopen Mount Road. The removal of traffic restrictions allows clear access to the Clatterbridge Recycling Centre for residents.
Due to an incident and subsequent police investigation, access to Clatterbridge Household Waste and Recycling Centre has been affected, however the site remains open and accessible.
Diversions are in place to allow access the from M53 (Junction 4) roundabout toward the end of Mount Road. To exit the site residents must turn right and travel back along Mount Road to the roundabout.
Road closures may cause some difficulties in accessing the site, and residents are advised to use an alternative Recycling Centre if possible.
