All of us need to reduce the amount of waste that is being sent to landfill. There are many ways in which you can do your part. By following the waste hierarchy you can reduce the amount of waste you throw away.

Reduce - Minimising what we throw away is the best solution to waste management

Re-use - Needlessly making new products wastes energy and resources - re-use the products you have

Recycle - Recycling old products into new ones saves raw materials

Our own advice is to reduce the amount of waste you produce in the first place, reuse whatever you can and what waste you do have, recycle it.
