What would the new facilities look like?

There are many local councils and authorities across the UK that are proposing to build major new waste management facilities. Some have already completed their developments, others have recently received planning consent and others are at the planning applications stage.

As part of its plans to develop new waste facilities, Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority will be looking at other developments across the UK to build on good practice in terms of architecture, position, sustainability and operation.
